Андрониковская икона Божией Матери - икона, почитаемая чудотворной, якобы бывшая домашней святыней византийского императора Андроника III Палеолога (в честь которого и получила именование).
По преданию,она - одна из написанных апостолом и евангелистом Лукой.
По первому сохранившемуся документальному свидетельству об иконе, в 1347 году Андроник пожертвовал ее Монемвасийской обители в Морее, где она пребывала до начала XIX-го столетия. После нападения на Грецию в 1821 году турецких войск, настоятель монастыря, епископ Агапий, пытаясь спасти чудотворную икону, скрылся с нею в г. Патрас. Перед смертью Агапий завещал ее своему родственнику, русскому генеральному консулу Н. И. Влассопуло, чей сын в 1839 переслал ее из Афин в Одессу для препровождения в Петербург Николаю Павловичу. С 1839 по 12 мая 1868 го¬да икона была в Зимнем Дворце, а с 12 мая 1868 года по 16 апреля 1877 г. - в Троицком соборе. В 1877 году в была перенесена в Казанский женский монастырь близ Вышнего Волочка Тверской епархии. В 1984 г. икона была украдена и нынешнее ее местонахождение неизвестно.
Существует множество чтимых списков Андрониковской иконы. Данная икона являет список с хранившейся в Казанском женском монастыре.
